Healthy wetlands help provide critical spawning areas for the fish that anglers seek, but these ecosystems are also directly important to terrestrial wildlife species that are popular with hunters. And consider how critical riparian corridors are for migratory species seeking better food sources and drier conditions and for connecting fragmented wildlife habitats.

So if you’re hunting in the uplands or wetlands, your participation supports habitats and species of all types, which in turn keeps your recreation of choice possible for generations to come.
